The company began 28 years ago as Fox Valley Kwik Kopy with its shop near the Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, IL. During most of its early years, it was a small, local shop servicing companies in the immediate area. In November 1998, Chuck Barbrow acquired the company and its meteoric growth began.
In August 2000, Fox Valley Kwik Kopy merged with Axon Printing of West Chicago, IL. Axon had been in business for 11 years. With the merger, the surviving company, Fox Valley Kwik Kopy, had a larger customer base and state of the art graphic equipment.
During 2003, Fox Valley Kwik Kopy acquired All-Redi Printing, a firm that had been in business for 26 years with the last 14 years in Oswego, IL. With this acquisition, the company acquired another large customer base. In December, the company also acquired Bobkat Printing of Brookfield, IL.
Also in 2003, the company changed its name to Franklin's Printing to reflect the combination of several companies and its emergence as a full service commercial printer. It also moved to a larger facility at 1100 Route 34, Oswego, IL and consolidated all of its operations into one location.
Upon Mr Barbrow's retirement in 2006, the company was acquired by Mike Spiezio and the name changed to Futura Printing. Our mission is to provide outstanding service and quality at competitive prices. Our shop specialties include turnkey marketing programs to help customers build their customer base, mailing and fulfillment, the impossible deadline, and "Tough Jobs Made Easy".
